Mounika Kata is a Healthcare Equity Fellow at CHI and Senior Analyst at HealthRise, a healthcare consulting firm focused on revenue cycle management and sustainable improvement. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, majoring in Bioengineering. Her areas of expertise include revenue cycle, patient access, strategy, and analytics. She has several years of industry experience focusing on healthcare delivery, process improvement, and consumer value. Prior to this, she began her career in academic research with projects including stem cell regeneration, drug modeling, and degenerative diseases. As a student, she was heavily involved with socially-minded startups and nonprofits dedicated to global health and sustainable development.
