Dr. Cheryl Beal Anderson is the founder and chief executive officer of ACE Regulatory Affairs Consulting, LLC (ACE RAC). With over two decades of expertise in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical regulatory affairs, Anderson has cultivated a profound commitment to addressing the unmet medical needs of patients with limited therapeutic options. Anderson’s extensive background encompasses development teams in both early-stage startups and established commercial programs in neurology, psychiatry, oncology, and cardiovascular therapeutic areas. Anderson has held positions of increasing responsibility at Parke-Davis, Pfizer, Eli Lilly & Company, and Lundbeck, LLC. Notably, Anderson served as Senior Vice-President, Global Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, and Quality at Upsher Smith Laboratories. Anderson is sought-after to speak on regulatory affairs, leadership development, STEM careers to advance the field and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders. Anderson received the 2021 Women in Business Honoree award from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Business Journal. Prior to her career in the biopharma industry, Anderson was a respected educator and faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Texas at Austin, Colleges of Pharmacy.

At ACE RAC, Anderson fosters early- and mid-stage biopharma and biotech start-ups to begin with the end in mind by developing early target product profiles, navigating complex paths to clinical development and market approval, engaging regulatory health authorities (i.e., FDA) in timely discussions about their development plans. ACE RAC will help companies establish their strategies to successfully include diverse patient groups in clinical research, advance health equity, particularly in underrepresented communities. ACE RAC will leverage its center of regulatory education for first time biopharma early-stage founders and CEOs. ACE RAC is an independent scientific advisor and mentor for accelerators, including the TMC Innovation Accelerator for Cancer Therapeutics.

Anderson serves on the Center for Healthcare Innovation Board of Directors and Development Committee, a not-for-profit research and educational forum to advance inclusion of underrepresented patient groups in clinical research. Anderson is an advisor on the CEO Dean Texas Pharmacy Advisory Council at the University of Texas at Austin. Anderson was tapped to help establish Women’s Employee Resource Groups, African American Employee Resource Group, and be on the corporate Diversity Council for four pharma companies to drive business excellence and innovation. Anderson professional memberships are BioNTX, Women Business Leaders in US Healthcare, Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Drug Information Association and Regulatory Affairs Professional Society. Anderson is deeply committed to community service, supporting organizations like Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and The Links, Inc.

Anderson's academic journey includes undergraduate degrees from Texas A&M University (Biomedical Science) and University of Texas at Austin (Pharmacy); graduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin (Doctor of Pharmacy); post-doc ASHP Accredited Residency in Psychiatric Clinical Pharmacy Practice; and MBA from Saint Josephs’ University (Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing).

Anderson is married to Donnie Anderson, they have two adult children, and reside in Spring, Texas. Anderson enjoys time with her family, traveling, attending college football and professional baseball games, and is a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
