Brandon Kortokrax is the Director of Corporate Development & Innovation at the Center for Healthcare Innovation. At CHI he focuses on business development and corporate relationship building along with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Since leaving The Ohio State University with his Finance degree nine years ago, Brandon has excelled in the corporate finance and commercial investment banking industries including work in large-scale industrial manufacturing, logistics, financial services, real estate, and technology. Brandon has had success scaling startups through business development and fundraising efforts, building financial models to analyze profitability of new projects, scrutinizing mergers and acquisitions, communicating financials to an array of people from CTOs and CFOs to mechanical and software engineers, and selling clients over $5B in structured finance deals.

In his free time, while completing his MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Brandon serves as a Senior Advisor at Prysm Institute, a healthcare and life science business accelerator, while also volunteering across inner city initiatives, teaching financial literacy, and helping veterans. Most recently, he has completed the University of Oxford’s Venture Finance Program.

Brandon has an enthusiasm for improving the world through new technology, and he strives to find situations where he can leave an indelible mark through creation and growth. He is particularly dedicated to and passionate about improving quality, cost, and access for the healthcare system.
